The Moments You Didn’t Know I was Photographing

As your wedding photographer, I am by your side your entire wedding day. I live every special moment that you do. The moments before the wedding — when you and your bridesmaids, groomsmen, etc., are hanging out, drinking mimosas, laughing and reminiscing over childhood and past memories, sharing cigars, playing corn hole or playing pool, and just hanging with your special people — I am there. The sacred time between the two of you before you walk down the aisle — whether it’s a first look, or the reading of private vows — I am there. The moment you step into your dress, zipping up the back or assembling buttons, placing your veil on your head, looking at yourself in the mirror seeing a bride on her wedding day — I am there. The walk down the aisle, tears in your eyes, tears in all your family and friends’ eyes — I am there. All throughout your reception — dancing, laughter, bouquet tosses, speeches and kind words from your loved ones — I am there for it all.
As a wedding photographer, being a part of these special moments, right by your side, are times I cherish, and I don’t take lightly. In addition to these moments where you look over and I am beside you, I also pride myself in capturing the moments you might not always see, or notice. Maybe it’s your grandparents sitting off to the side, watching their grandchild growing up, reminiscing of when you were little. Maybe it’s your friends, dancing at your reception to the songs you have been dancing and singing to for years. Maybe it’s your significant other, before the ceremony, when you stayed apart, reading a letter you wrote them, or laughing with the people most special to them. All of these moments that you did not see, I want to share them with you, so that when you look at your gallery, you not only see what was happening, but feel it, too, taking you right back to that special day. These are the moments that mean the most to me, and make me feel incredible pride and gratitude to be part of them.
